Before the party, you might want to eat something, because you never know if the foods gonna be horrible. You might even want to sneak a few snacks in your bag, just for emergencies.
A few things I would bring to entertain myself:
> MP3/MP4/iPod, PSP, DSi, ect. (something portable)
> Paper & Pencil, Optional scissors (for drawing, origami, ect)
> A really good book (helps pass the time)
> Some unfinished homework (optional)
If the people have internet, you could ask them if you can use the computer. Your life is basically saved when you have the computer. You've got YouTube, Facebook, Blogspot. You could watched tv shows, dramas, movies. There's so many things you could do. Yesterday, I got the computer; it saved my life. I watched episode 10 of Chuno and it was intense.
If you're too shy to ask then you could try to get your PSP or DSi or iTouch/iPhone to get WiFi. I pretty sure most houses have WiFi now. The only problem is, most houses have passwords. For PSPs and iPods, be sure to have maybe a few tv show eps or a movie on hand or downloaded onto the system. Always helps in situations. I have tons of videos on my iTouch.
Another option is doodling or origami. If you have an iTouch/iPhone, download some origami apps before you go to the party. Origami is really fun, but frustrating at times. You'll get the hang of it and soon you'll become addicted, like I am. I did like 7 origami pieces yesterday. A knife, a balloon, a beating heart, a rabbit, a frog, a daisy and a lily.
The last option is the T.V. I'm sure every house as a T.V.
It's really not hard to entertain yourself. Just try your best not to sit around and listen to the adults talk. Maybe you can sit down with them and eat, then when you're down you could just excuse yourself. If there's a person your age, it's always good to make new friends. If the family has a pet dog or cat, it's nice to pet it and play with it for awhile. Many, many options. You just have to find them. If you're old enough to freakin' drive, why are you even there? Get out of the place.
“Only those who want everything done for them are bored”
